huh?

so first my aunt told me she’s buddhist, which doesn’t surprise me because she’s very into acupuncture and tea ceremonies and all that very chinese-y stuff.  but now i’m staying in my grandparents room while they’re in another city, and i pick up their pillows and find all these prayer beads and books!  and a little buddha statue with incense in the corner of the room.  it all makes sense now… when i was little i woke up at dawnish because of a tummyache and my grandma was already up and meditating in her room.  i thought it was just old person thing then. and to an outsider buddhism seems all mixed up with daoism and confucianism.  something like that.  but yeah, i think this half of the family is definitely most likely buddhist. cool.
